Snippet Sunday - My newest WIP 03/08/2014

~~~
Thank you all for visiting and commenting the last few weeks as I introduced you to my two characters of the upcoming release "Fresh Beginnings".
It's time for a new story ... as yet untitled.
Meet Jeri.
~~~

She drank the last little bit of her wine, paid, and left. A deep disappointment settled in the pit of Jeri’s stomach. It surprised her, because it hadn’t been the first time she’d been on a blind date, with the guy not showing up. She choked back a laugh as she thought of the man she’d met only a few weeks earlier. Admittedly, he was nice, but not at all what he’d pretended to be in the details she received from the “Your Future Heart” agency.

Yet, this rejection hurt inside. Olivia had told her so much about her neighbour, and she trusted her friend’s daughter when she’d said He’ll be there.

Thank you all for your support and kind comments.
 I do appreciate each single one of them!

  1. OOh, great suspense. Now I want the guy to show up unexpected somewhere else. :-)

  3. Ah, the joys of meeting (or not meeting) people... I'm curious to find out what happened to him that he wasn't there. (And I hope he's not the guy from the agency...)

    1. Thanks PT .... I'm quite liking the idea where this story is heading.

  4. I hope he is not dead... hum, that would be the only acceptable excuse so, not to show up without warning.
