Starving for Love
by Nicole
Zoltack
Nicole Zoltack doesn't like to get boxed in by genre - and it shows, she loves to write fantasy, paranormal, horror, romance, historical, contemporary; for adults, YA, MG, and PBs. She's also a freelance editor and a content and line editor at MuseItUp Publishing. When she's not writing about girls wanting to be knights, talking unicorns, or zombies, she loves spending time with her growing family.
1- Starving for Love reminds me of
"The little Mermaid". Did you have that story in mind when you wrote
the book?
I did! I specifically set out to
take a fairy tale retelling with a zombie twist and boom! Starving for Love was
born. I'm planning on doing more and can't wait to get starting.
2 - you have three little boys.
Tell us how you manage between family and finding time to write.
It's a daily challenge. I'm so
lucky that the younger two nap every day at the same time while the eldest is
at school. Built in writing time! Other than that, I try to write before they
wake up and after hubby's left work for and if I haven't reached my word count
during nap time writing, I stay up late after everyone else is in bed. Family
time is more important to me than writing time.
3 - Tell us a bit about your
current project.
I'm 70K into Scarlet Magi, the last
book in my superhero romance trilogy that will be coming out in October from
Desert Breeze Publishing. After that... not sure yet! ;)
Blurb:
Longing
to fill the emptiness inside, Sirena swims to the surface and discovers a
distraught child crying about a monster eating his family. Appalled at the
notion, she promises to slay the monster, not knowing she is seeking to destroy
the man she loves.

Zoltack loves to write in many genres, especially romance, whether fantasy,
paranormal, or regency. When she’s not writing about knights, superheroes, or
zombies, she loves to spend time with her loving husband and three energetic
young boys. She enjoys riding horses (pretending they’re unicorns, of course!)
and going to the PA Renaissance Faire, dressed in garb. She’ll also read
anything she can get her hands on. Her current favorite TV show is The Walking
Dead. To learn more about Nicole and her writing, visit
