GENRE: ROMANCE—Love Will Find You by Iris Blobel

Ms. Blobel understands the essence of romance. At its heart a good romance has to be about the emotional connection between two people. Katie and Ty’s story is a poignant reminder that it is easy to fall in love, but building a relationship takes time, trust, and a willingness to open your heart. As a reader, I appreciate that there is much more to the story than sex. Yes the characters do steam up the sheets, but the scenes are tastefully done. The real story is about love’s rollercoaster ride, and it’s healing power. I won’t summarize the plot, nor belabor the point that this is a genre romance. In my humble opinion, reviews should tell you whether the book is worth reading, and this one is. Love Will Find You is the perfect book to take to the beach and read while soaking up the sun. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Blobel’s books.

This is the first book I read by author. I really enjoyed this book. I will have to read book 1 in this series. You can read this as a standalone

Their love story is not your regular "thrills" one - you know, the one with shivers top to bottom and bottom to top - at the first sight :) It's a beautiful story about the friendship, strong and true, turning slowly into some profound feelings. They do not realize it at first, then they do not want to realize that, finally they are too scared to admit it... :) But it gets them anyways :D

FRESH BEGINNINGS

We continue with Fresh Beginnings, Jared's story as he travels through five states
 in the US in a Motorhome. I used our itinerary from our US travels two years ago
 and wrote a romance story around in.
Jared's met Ivy, a hitchhiker ... I skipped forward a little, they're now having some lunch.

They drove into town with Ivy behind the steering wheel. She was indeed a very good driver. Ivy had no trouble steering the big vehicle through the small streets, and before he knew it, they'd stopped in a shopping parking area. It suited him as he wanted to stock up on a few items before he hit the road again.
"I suppose that's it," she said quietly.
He simply nodded. There wasn't much to say. As much as he enjoyed the little bit of company, she hadn't been a great talker and was too tense about the whole situation she was in. Whatever the situation was. He'd never asked. It wasn't any of his business. The bottom line was, he wanted to enjoy a nice holiday and not take on somebody else's problems. Bad enough that he would have an extra passenger in a few days when he made it to Utah.
"Thanks," she added and held out her hand.
He took the hand and replied, "No worries mate."
That made her smile. A smile he wouldn't forget. "Look after yourself and don't forget to eat, will ya?"
Taking her bag, she said, "The woman who will end up with you, will be one lucky lady."
He chuckled. "And I had the impression you thought of me as a criminal."
"No," she lied.
And he chuckled some more. "I'd better go. It was really nice meeting you. And I really appreciate you helping me out."
He stood and locked the doors to the motorhome. Yet, she wasn't moving.
"Ivy."
"Hmm?"
Watching her carefully, he finally said. "Your feet aren't movin'."
Her beautiful eyes filled up with tears, and Jared felt bad for pushing her. Obviously, her impression of him being a criminal couldn't have been all that bad, because she wasn't leaving. Exhaling a big breath, he met her gaze. Nothing was going to plan, so why not?
"Wanna come a little further?" he finally asked.
To his surprise, she shook her head. "No." Drawing in her lips, she stepped back and then said. "Bye, Jared."
With a guilty conscience, he watched her walk across the car park and into a distance. "Nice knowing ya," he said to himself and then went into the shopping centre.

Mark took the suitcase from the boot of his car and walked towards the house, opened the gate, and placed the girls’ belongings next to the fence. He turned, and Sophie made no effort in hiding the struggle with emotions.

“That’s it. This is Forty-Six Chestnut Avenue,” he told them.

It was all too much for her, and she sat down onto her suitcase and took everything in. She stared at the old brick-built English cottage house. A small path ahead of her led to two worn out steps and up to the arched entrance. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, her gaze moved over to the windows. Multi-pane windows with shutters and flower boxes in front. Beautiful. Though the flowers seemed long dead. The garden was true to the cottage style, but looked wild and unattended. It was in need of a lot of work. She looked up and saw a chimney and instantly thought about cold winter evenings in front of the open fire. She’d heard that Hobart was very cold during winter. And then she just cried. Emotions that had bottled up over the years surfaced, and she wasn’t able to hold back any longer.

Her younger sister undoubtedly had her mother’s looks, with the long, straight blond hair, her bright grey-green eyes, and pale skin. But deep down inside, there was a survivor instinct as well. Something, she wondered, her mother might have lacked.

“You’re Mia’s guardian?”

"Yes,” she replied and gently placed a kiss on her sister’s forehead.

He nodded, and by the way he stared ahead, Sophie knew he was pondering her answers.
“I'm Mark.”
“Pardon me?”
Through the mirror, she saw his eyes focused on them. “My name is Mark. Nobody actually calls me Mr. O’Connor. It feels like my dad is around when I hear that term.”
A smile twitched at the corner of Sophie’s mouth, but she remained silent.
“Ever been to Hobart?”
She shook her head.
Mark concentrated on the traffic again. He did a couple of turns, and Sophie’s excitement grew stronger. Deep down inside she hoped for the house to be close by. It was a beautiful area. So much green around. So many beautiful and colourful gardens. With a pounding heart, she was glued to the window, her palms moist with sweat.

And then he stopped in front of number sixty-four.

Taken by surprise by this sudden start of a conversation, Sophie looked up and gazed back at him through the mirror. She wondered how old he might be. Even though Mr. O’Connor was dressed up neatly in a grey suit with a matching tie, his tousled blond hair gave him a casual look. But then her gaze went down to her hand in Mia’s lap, holding onto her sister.
“Just making conversation.”
